Mission

Fraternity & Sorority Life at UT Dallas is committed to promoting, developing and enhancing the four pillars that our community prides itself on- Belonging, Personal Development, Opportunity, and Brotherhood/Sisterhood/Siblinghood.

Vivid Description

Fraternity and Sorority Life at UT Dallas is young, refreshing, and entrepreneurial. The chapters, like the campus, are vibrantly diverse, academically proud, and are actively developing career ready competencies for their members. Every day on campus you will find a sorority or fraternity creating new innovative personal development opportunities for their members to prepare them for successful careers and fulfilling lives.

Our community is seeking the creators of new, modern traditions that are built for students of today and tomorrow. Most of us were never even considering joining a fraternity or sorority, but when we realized we could craft an experience that we desired, we found a home full of opportunities at UT Dallas. We have been inspired by the history of our organizations across America, but we are driven by the modern needs of today’s students. Join us and be a part of something no other college offers: The opportunity to invent tradition daily.

Vision

The vision for Fraternity and Sorority Life at UT Dallas is to become a large, developmental and inclusive fraternity and sorority community. Large not just in the sense that there are numerous fraternity and sorority members but rather that those members have a significant impact on the UT Dallas community. Developmental in the sense that our fraternities and sororities are recruiting and educating a premier group of leaders at UT Dallas. Finally, being an inclusive community that although is historically perceived as exclusive in nature, will actively bring the fraternity and sorority community to all the students of UT Dallas to highlight the talents and benefits of the fraternal experience.
